A heartbreaking video of a Kenyan woman working in Saudi Arabia has gone viral, leaving many Kenyans emotional and demanding urgent action to protect migrant workers abroad.
In the disturbing clip circulating online, the young woman is seen crying and visibly distressed as she narrates the ordeal she claims to be going through while working overseas. Speaking through tears, she says she has been locked inside a room by her employer and has not eaten for four days.
The woman alleges that before she was confined, she was severely beaten by her employer and his sons. She says the assault left her with injuries, including bleeding wounds on her legs and pain across her body.
In the emotional video, she sends a desperate message to her sister back home in Kenya, asking her to inform their parents about the suffering she has endured. At one point, she heartbreakingly says she fears she may not survive the situation.

The incident has also reignited debate about the safety and welfare of Kenyan migrant workers, especially domestic workers in the Middle East, where cases of mistreatment have been reported over the years.
Kenyans online are urging the government to strengthen protections for citizens who travel abroad in search of employment, emphasizing that no one should have to endure abuse while trying to support their families.
