There has always been a fuss about the academic credentials of politicians especially. Questions have been raised on the authenticity of academic papers held by some politicians including Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, Mike Sonko, among others. However, there has never been keen interest in those politicians who did exceptionally well in their high school days. This is how some of our politicians performed academically.
1.RAILA ODINGA
Raila attended Maranda High School and completed 1962. At Maranda, he was a very bright student and ended up scoring an equivalent of todays A- (Minus). He later went and joined Herder Institute in Germany where he studied,. He later went to the University of Leipzig in East Germany. He then went and joined the Magdeburg Technical School, currently know as Otto-von-Guericke University. This was on a scholarship. He later graduated with a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.
2.KALONZO MUSYOKA
Kalonzo attended both Meru and Kitui High Schools. There it is said that he scored an equivalent of an A-(Minus) grade and upon completion. He later joined University of Nairobi where he studied a degree in law. He later continued with his studies at the Kenya School of Law in 1978. In 1979, he went to Cyprus and joined the Mediterranean Institute of Management. He graduated with a diploma in business.
3.MOSES WETANGULA
He scholed at Busakala, later went to Teremi and finished his high school at Friends School Kamusinga High Schools. Wetangula scored A Plain and later joined University of Nairobi for his LLB degree.

4. Musalia Mudvadi
Early learning at Nairobi Primary School, then Jamhuri and Nairobi School for his A-levels where he scored an equivalent of a straight A, before proceeding to the University of Nairobi for his Bachelor of Arts (Land Economics) degree.
